Local citation building.
One correct version of your business, everywhere.

A citation is a business listing: your name, address, phone number and category on the directories that feed Google, Bing and AI assistants. Webiyo finds every listing that's wrong, fixes it, builds the ones you're missing, and rechecks them every quarter. It's included in every plan.

The most common problem is a business with several conflicting versions of itself.

Why it matters

Why listings matter more than they used to

Google states directly that local rankings come down to relevance, distance and prominence, and that prominence is built in part from reviews, links and listings. That is no longer the biggest reason to care.

Three things decide local rankings

Relevance, distance and prominence. Listings feed the third one, alongside reviews and links. Source: Google

What goes wrong

A second profile, an old phone number, or a footer that says "123 Main Street" while the page code says "123 Main St". Each one splits the signal.

Getting your listings right is no longer mainly about map-pack rank. It decides whether ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews trust that your business is real.

What's included

Five kinds of work, with the cost built into your plan.

A full audit

Every directory, aggregator and platform your business appears on, correct or not.

Duplicate cleanup

Competing or abandoned listings found and merged or removed, so your signal stops splitting across versions of the same business.

Core listings corrected

Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect and the major data aggregators, brought to one consistent version.

Trade and local listings built

The directories specific to your trade and your city, as well as the national ones.

Quarterly rechecks

New inconsistencies get caught before they've had months to spread across the smaller sites that copy from the big ones.

Included in every plan

Listing work comes with every Webiyo plan, alongside SEO and AI visibility tracking, at no separate charge.

Want to know what's wrong with your listings right now?

Send us your website and we'll show you every inconsistency we find. You'll have it within 24 hours.

$2 to $5
per listing, at standalone services

What this costs elsewhere

Standalone listing services usually charge per listing, from around $2 to $5 each, or sell a package running $55 to $600 depending on volume, or bill a monthly management fee of around $20 a location.

For a business with inconsistencies across a dozen or more sources, that adds up fast, and most of those services stop at building new listings. They don't audit for duplicates or recheck later. It's part of every Webiyo plan, from $397 a month, with no separate charge. See plans and pricing

Listing questions

Something we didn't cover? Ask us

What's a duplicate listing, and why does it hurt me?

It's a second (or third) profile for the same business, usually created by accident when someone couldn't find or didn't know about the original. Search engines and AI systems don't always know to treat them as one business, so reviews, signal, and trust get split between versions instead of building on one.

Will you need access to my Google Business Profile?

Yes, to claim and correct it if it isn't already accurate, the same access described in our terms for any account we manage on your behalf.

How often does this need to be redone?

Not from scratch. Once your core listings are correct, the ongoing work is catching new inconsistencies, such as a phone system change, a move, or an employee accidentally creating a new profile, before they spread. That's why we recheck every quarter.

What if my business has moved or changed its name?

That's when listings break down fastest, and when it matters most to redo them properly. We audit the full scope of what needs updating so nothing gets fixed piecemeal.

Does this help with AI visibility, or just Google Maps?

Both. Consistent information is one of the strongest signals AI engines use to trust that a business is real before naming it in an answer.
